Eliza was born about 1817, inferred from her death certificate.^#2

She married James NEWPORT in Loughgall (St. Lukes C of I) Church 11th Februay 1838.^#1 At the time of her marriage, she was residing in Fernagreevagh at marriage. The witnesses to the marriage were George CURRAN and Abraham ALLEN. It seems likely that this George CURRAN was her brother, who married Mary Jones the year before. Both were residents of Fernagreevagh at the time of their marriages.

She died in 1872, aged 55 years in Grange (Upper or Lower?), Co. Armagh.^#2
